I am proud to announce that I have been accepted as a sponsor to the Wedding Wishing Well Foundation for the next year. This amazing charity organises & funds weddings for people who have a terminal or life limiting illness.
Naomi Thomas is the inspirational woman who founded of this charity, which she set up after her own diagnosis of breast cancer. You can read and watch all about it here.
The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation fundraise in order to help terminally ill people to marry, as they feel very strongly that everyone deserves their special day even if their life is limited. As such, fundraising is essential for them to continue their work.
Christmas is now just round the corner! I realised this morning that we are now two weeks away from the end of term, and so three weeks from Christmas… yes, three weeks! But do not panic, for Emerald & Jade’s Christmas Shop 2015 is now open!
I have a selection of beautiful little treats for you, whether a little something for a teacher, a mini tree for your desk at work, or some beautiful, low maintenance hyacinths and succulents, there is something for everyone!
Before we start, can I just say how hard it is to take amaaaaazing photos of plants?! Pinterest has a lot to answer for and I do hope Santa brings me some lessons in photography and similar skills required for this!
Anyway… I have the following items available for sale. The items have been repotted into new containers with new soil. Containers may vary to the one shown on photo, but happy to send you photos of the options separately if you would like to see before buying. Either for collection in St Anne’s Park, or delivery available within Bristol.
I am also making wreaths, whether for your door (from £15), as a table decoration (from £25), or living wreaths (from £25) to go on loved ones graves for Christmas. Do get in touch if you would like to place an order or find out more!
Also, the Shop will be open up until the 16th December 2015. Emerald & Jade Flowers will then be closing from 17th December 2015, and will reopen on 11th January 2016, ready for a very exciting new year!
ps: and one of the (many) photos that didn’t work out! ie Rudolf tripping over the ribbon, knocking over the potted echeveria and making a mess!… I promise I’ll keep practicing!
